Danny Welbeck has not played a single match for Arsenal since April of 2015 and this is due to the knee injury that the Englishman picked up which required him to go through a surgery and has left him out of the playing grounds for over 8 months.
The 25 year old attacker was originally expected to make a comeback and enter the pitch in January of this New Year but in an interview with Joycasino Arsene Wenger confirmed that the player will take a longer time before returning to the pitch as he suffered a setback.
Even with the substantially long absence of Danny Welbeck, Arsene Wenger is managing to deal extremely well with his list of injured players which is always a problem for his team but so far, Arsenal are dealing with it, I’m tipping them to make a sustained title challenge, as long as they manage to keep their other main attackers, Olivier Giroud and Alexis Sanchez, free from injury.
“Unfortunately he was injured at the end of April and we are now at the end of December and he is still not available because of a bone bruising. That deteriorated and it is a big blow to us. Especially now we cannot rotate.” Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger said.
That was the statement which was released by the head coach of Arsenal a few weeks ago as the French manager stated that Danny Welbeck sustained a bone bruising which will be keeping out of the playing grounds for a longer period of time than what it initially was expected and from the looks of it, he will not be coming back into the main team anytime soon.
The French attacker has scored 14 goals in 20 appearances and Sanchez has scored 13 goals in 14 appearances and Mesut Ozil is the king of assists as he has provided his teammates with 19 goal-scoring assists in 19 matches.
